March 19, 2022 - Sichuan and Rieslings (Taste of Sichuan, Beaverton OR): The nose is clearly mature and in an advanced stage with tones of Nougat, caramel, red apples, creamed peaches, and some honey. The Medium bodied feel has some density, yet it lacks on the mid-palate with tart, medium+ acidity. This is a lovely and fully mature(if on the downslope) Auslese. This isn’t really my style of wine at this point, but it is a great showing and one that I fully appreciate.
