December 3, 2020 - At $10, a win. Cheesy nose--super cheese. But taste profile is nice, if bland, Chianti. Stylistically typical and very drinkable, with good acid. Agree that the nose is really strange, and I'm a "nose over palate" guy, but not the first time I've a wine with a messed up nose but perfectly decent palate.
Also, that Ermine is buff as hell. -

December 7, 2019 - Dark ruby with moderate legs. Medium mouth feel. Slight aroma of cherry and plum on the nose. Plum and figs on the palate. Dry finish.

October 1, 2017 - Probiert bei Sensorik-Seminar: Preiselbeere, Kirsche, Himbeere. Sehr Marmeladig wenn er wärmer wird. Merlot als Beimischung macht den Wein bereits trinkbar, allerdings weniger lagerfähig. Sandboden, daher süffig aber flach im Abgang.
