February 23, 2024 - Two hour decant. Nose of cherries and tobacco. Medium/full bodied with some alcoholic warmth. Bright acidity but very tannic and bitter finish. Scored it for today rather than future potential. This will certainly improve but today it is not as enjoyable as I had hoped based on past vintages. Wait.

December 24, 2023 - medium purple, with some garnet Oak, smoke, wet leaves on the nose Cherry cranberry, some tartness and tobacco gripping tannins and strong acidity.

September 25, 2023 - So now that I have sampled over 100 new Italian wines I get to posting on this beauty. Aromatically it achieves cherries, some blueberry and that elusive strawberry. In mouth it is more earthy with mushroom and underbrush notes. The wine is generally tannin driven, young and alchohol heated.
