March 2, 2023 - Delicate and precise but lacking the stuffing I associate with Barolo. Interesting but prefer more traditional Barolo.

January 16, 2023 - Lovely. This is a beautifully aromatic and classily restrained Barolo. What it lacks in depth it makes up for in purity and focus. Minerality and fine tannins that are already integrating well. Cherry and some violet on the nose. Herbal and small berry notes. Clean, medium intensity finish. Very nice with food and a pleasure without.

Though this isn't packed with fruit, it seems to have the structure to age well over the medium-term. I align with the current CT Community window of 2021 - 2033. Check in again ~2026?

    14.5% abv - I would have guessed mid-upper 13's.

Purchased at $34 USD 4+ years ago and I think that represents solid value.

January 4, 2023 - This producer has much love from Kermit Lynch where I bought close to a case of various offerings. To this date, I have yet to come across what Kermit Lynch referred to as a "Saucy Style" Barolo, which makes these a bit of a disappointment. At best, all of these have been soft-spoken and shy, lacking in substance, with faint elegance but in all fairness, have descent balance. This is my pinot noir replacement to have with soft foods that need something more than a rich white wine. These wines make big Barbarescos look very attractive. Drink

December 3, 2022 - Translucent at the edges. Suggestions of savory cherry. Rather elegant. 14.5 alcohol, but it does not show heat. Highly enjoyable over three nights. We will wait a couple years to open the second and last.

December 3, 2021 - Very light colored wine. Not a lot of concentration although there's a firm blanket of fine tannins. Nice Cherry notes but I would be concerned about how this would age because of the lack of fruit.
