December 26, 2023 - Opened for 2.5 hours. Color is deep and opaque garnet/purple. On the nose: I am coming off a cold so not sure how good my effort will be, but I get : Pepper, iron, violets and cassis. Probably a lot more there than I can get at the moment. On the palate: Cassis, pepper, violets, iron, blackberries and a bit of cinnamon. This is superb even with a cold remnant. It is quite young, probably needs at least 5 years and I should have opened for maybe 6 hours. Since I was sick over 3 days and Christmas I wanted to drink something really good to celebrate being almost better and the holidays.

November 14, 2023 - My fav of the '15 La La's tonight, the most balanced and perfumed despite the extreme youth of these wines. Beautiful pot-pouri, violets, lavender, dark berries, ample but more silky tannins compared to the other La La's, elegant and juicy but refined. Needs 10+ years. Cotsens blind night

Pretty, juicy, black fruits, a little stone fruit, plenty of tannins but softly handled, the oak more evident on the palate though this is lovely.
