March 23, 2024 - Quite full bodied, rich raspberry and earthy character. Decently long finish. Very good but didn’t feel quite as well balance as the 2016 Clos du Ciel.

May 14, 2022 - The wine did not in any way require decanting. It came out of the bottle silky smooth. The nose had beautiful aromas of fresh strawberries, rose pedals and cherries.
After taking one sip, this wine seriously blew my mind. There was nothing angular about the wine. It was as round as a wine could ever be. The tannins were well integrated and didn’t create separation in the wine. Perfect from beginning to end.
A must try if you are a serious Pinot lover. -
