Community Tasting Notes 6

June 17, 2022 - Two years after opening our first bottle of this Syrah/CS, I wish we would have waited a bit longer. This is a serious, powerful wine best consumed with some salty red meat.

Extravagant nose blueberry jam, gingerbread, ripe black plum, menthol and new car leather.

Tannins are quite well integrated with nicely balanced acidity and very hot and forward alcohol.

Flavours add smoked meat and spicy black pepper but the alcohol is overwhelming.

Better in a couple years. Drink from 2025.

July 31, 2020 - Will berry and red some chocolate. Savoury and toasty- full-bodied red wine blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.

April 9, 2020 - Beautiful nose of blueberry, blackberry, chocolate and vanilla. Bold, hot and balanced on the palate, best consumed with red meat. Flavours match the nose with blueberry pie and chocolate. Long, fruity finish!

January 29, 2020 - Ripe and integrated nose with currant, cherry, terra cotta, and chocolate notes. Big and juicy palate; large and lush, spiced finish.
