    November 9, 2022 - Smith Dinner, 11/05/22

Amazing wine with enough age to come across as elegant and mature, but young enough to retain it's core backbone of darker red and black fruit. Smooth resolved tannins, excellent balance. Drink now or hold for further tertiary development.

April 1, 2022 - Really good Sonoma pinot, drinking really well right now, seven years in. More fruit than a burgundy (it is CA after all), but more tannin, more saline, and more meatiness than the typical Sonoma pinot. It was at its best after being open for ~3 hours, so can definitely be held.

December 31, 2021 - Beautiful floral, perfume-y nose. Delicate on the palate but there’s enough firmness in the tannins to provide structure. Not at all fruit-forward, unlike too many Sonoma Pinots.

June 28, 2021 - Silky tannins, dark cherry, hint of cedar and spice. Really nice wine that needs at least 2 hours open to really shine.

June 11, 2021 - Silky, saline, dark cherry and pomegranate, with herbs, slate, and sandlewood tannins. Beautifully balanced and structured, with a lean, creamy ripeness. 2015 is coming together as a very nice vintage of Camp Meeting Ridge.
