  So much complexity. And freshness. Obviously a sherry - I ruled out dry Oloroso for the reason that it had much more of a fino feel. So either Palo Cortado or Amontillado. Of some age and pedigree. Really great stuff. Highly Recommended.

  October 28, 2017 - This wine is outrageous, and really underscores just how special and undervalued Sherry is in the wine world today. A kaleidoscopic nose that travels across the room: nuts, caramel, saltiness, citrus, banana. Super complex and almost smells a little like a dessert wine. The palate is rich, mouthcoating and the finish goes on for over a minute. This has really changed the way I think about Sherry and I would put this head to head with really any top producer's grand cru bottling from France or Italy at a fraction of the price.

  July 5, 2017 - Nose is spicy, wood, caramel, complex w nice sweetness. Big on palate with lots of alcohol. Wood. Lots of acid and heat but still tasty. Finish is nutty and lean. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 16/20.

  June 17, 2016 - Lovely aromas and flavors - citrus, salt, almond, yeast, leather, spice. But the overall smoothness, elegance and subtlety of this really set it apart.

  June 18, 2015 - Palo Cortado, natural born or quimical made? (Enoteca Barolo - Madrid): Notes to bitter butter on a sweet finish. The palate has power and is long to infinity and beyond. Excellent. Origin Domecq.
