August 22, 2023 - Popped and poured. Showing a bit of age on the rim, fading to a light purple-garnet. Aromas of black and red raspberry, ripe strawberry, sous bois, some funky musky kola nut, with a soft, salty finish. Fun stuff, intense in the nose and mouth, med + body, med acid, med tannin, no booze. Well made.

January 21, 2021 - Lovely wine, much better than price would suggest. Floral, sandalwood nose, good fruit in the mid palate, lovely long finish with just a bit of savory tannin. Terrific and delicious, especially given the price and the vintage. I wish I’d bought more, as it’s just right just now.

December 7, 2019 - Cool red fruit, menthol, tobacco, earth, sage, bay. Cherry, capsicum, smoke and cedar on the palate; not too acidic, medium-minus body, very fine tannins, elegant.

June 24, 2018 - Bright, dense red fruit on the nose, a touch of cool stems in the background. On the palate, excellent acidity with dark red fruit. Peppery and leans hot with a peppery finish showing some soft tannin.
