Community Tasting Notes 2

February 21, 2008 - Young and forward, with some faint mint notes.

September 28, 2006 - The aromatics on this wine contain vanilla and dark red fruits. The palate is all about Cab fruit, currants, cassis, followed by light tannins, and a fairly lush mouthfeel. The finish is moderate, with some cranberries and oak. This is an easy drinking cab, doing all the right things for its price point, and though fairly simple, is recommended. The problem with this wine is it feels created. Everything is done right, but nothing is done excitingly or different. It's a great house wine, but offers no insights or interest in itself.
