December 21, 2018 - Wonderful! Even at this young stage. Best in two years I estimate.

July 28, 2017 - Brunello Magic with Sergio at La Fortezza, wine no 6:

Another encounter with this new experiment from family producer Fornace. Tough tannins, rich nose, medium body, packed with flavors. Red cherries, raspberry, violet. Bury deep in cellar!

July 26, 2017 - Tasting at the vineyard headed by inspiring Fabio. Small family producer dedicated to quality and being true to the denomination. 4 ha, averaging around 15 000 bottles. Located in eastern part of Montalcino. First vintage of the Origini, a wine made with manual old school techniques and no temperature control during fermentation, 15% with stems. Aged 3 years in old Slavonian oak. Wild and natural style, lots of spices, grippy tannins (from stems). Slightly bitter in finish, great future but not ready yet.
