April 22, 2023 - Popped and poured. Fantastic as in the past. Nose is off the charts beautiful with floral and orchard fruit notes. Full bodied but well balanced. On the palate lemon oil, a little orange rind, minerals and a touch of hazelnuts. Long finish. This probably is at peak now for well stored bottles.

October 18, 2020 - TobI's Firework (Berens am Kai 1 star Restaurant): blind
I guessed Burgundy, cracking acidity, popcorn, some grren notes, some vanilla and hazelnut aromas. In the same flight with Kirchenstück 2004. Very balanced, close to his peak. 961 person found this helpful Comment -

June 1, 2019 - Chez G, 2 bottles, the first nigh on perfect, pale, wonderful depth, balance, complexity and authority, good for 10 years plus and even better than my 16 bottle, the second slightly darker and with marginally less layering, citric cut and balance and with merest hint of POX around the corner. VF (18.5)….marks for first bottle, second 92/100 or 17.5/20.

January 20, 2018 - Sexy elegant på den formfulle siden.
Virkelig flott nese!
Fantastisk vin!1 person found this helpful Comment -

December 28, 2016 - Pale straw in color. The PYCM vanilla is not as prominent, which I like. Intense lemon on the palate. Very balanced. After 30 minutes, the batard fat becomes more apparent. Hint of white mushroom on the finish. Much more lemon acidity compared to the Montrachet. Very good and can age another 5-10 years effortlessly I would guess.
