Community Tasting Notes 1

  • MicklethePickle Likes this wine: 84 points

July 10, 1991 - At home at dinner (quick conchiglie with basil). Bright yellow-gold. Lots of sediment. Brilliant. Nose is complex, with coconut, lemon, some alcohol too. Creamy oak. Lean and austere. Plenty of acidity; perhaps too much. These wines always have the same characteristics--ones Parker likes, but I am not as crazy about. 5-10-13-6: 84/100.
