Community Tasting Notes 1

October 15, 2022 - Brought to drink at Oinoscent during service. Bottle open at 10, notes taken 1.3h later

The wine shows high intensity in the nose, quite more "typical" Sancerre than the 2009 I tasted 2 days ago. The color is also slighly deeper.
The nose shows ripe to overripe citrus/stone fruit, tropical fruit, mango, nutty, grapefruit peel, asparagus notes, a touch grassy too.
Palate shows full body, high acidity, high intensity again, citrus, highly extracted, mineral and crunchy. It has notes of quince, mango, yello apple, mouth watering salinity, long finish.
Wine feels to be at peak, but then again....
