Community Tasting Notes 2

June 4, 2020 - Pronounced nose. Raisin, Tabcco, dried date. Good balance.

  • RGCM Gananda Likes this wine: 92 points

May 8, 2018 - Earthy blackfruit with red undertones on the nose. As it opens up, moves more and more to the redfruit end of the spectrum and the leather and spices qualities also become more pronounced. Medium bodied with red cherry and red berry upfront. Gains a lot of depth through the middle and picks tannic structure and spices on the backside. Opens up fairly quickly and takes on more blackfruit notes (especially towards the back) as it does so. The richness through the mid-body contrasts quite well with the tannic structure behind. As well as this showed tonight, I think with another few years, it should show even better integration and the mid-body will be more expressive. (Antica Bottega del Vino; Verona, Italy)
