June 18, 2023 - A bit tight with acid/tannin edge on opening. Decanted 45 minutes, helped, continued to open over next couple of hours. Black cherry, cherry, red fruit, oak, spice, hints on light vanilla, herb. Quite a nice nose, nice richness on palate, reasonable length, but did not evolve or develop new flavor dimensions. Enjoyed but was not wowed.

July 5, 2022 - Dark fruit and alcohol on the nose. Medium bodied and fruit forward. Oak and spice. Smooth tannins and medium finish.
Very good for the price May get a few more to lay down. -
