January 11, 2019 - Poured by Alex-thank you Alex for the taste, very funky nose-almost sweat sox but not corked, more like Taco Bell Hot Sauce, on the palate, creamy, rich fruit, lovely fruit, medium/big body, and a long finish.

October 10, 2014 - Opened and decanted. Enjoyed over two hours. Not much change during that time. There's a subtle glimpse of full-bodied Napa Cab in there but all that's left is ruins. Smell of Italian seasoning dominated the wine and was not quite enjoyable.

July 5, 2014 - Some fruit still left in this but not much depth. Drank a 750 ml 18 months ago which was better. As would be expected, this opened after airing for 90 min. To reveal leather, cigar box and a hint of mocha.

February 2, 2014 - Clearly, this is a wine that is made to be consumed right away. However, after twenty years, there is a still sweet and vibrant fruit qualities left in the bottle. That's about the only thing going for this bottle. Easy to drink if you consume this label without any expectation.

January 18, 2014 - Medium garnet in the glass. Still some fruit left. Nicely balanced with flavors of raspberry, sour cherry, mocha and a hint of cedar. This was the consensus favorite at "Open That Bottle Night" one year ago. A year later, it is still very tasty but tannins are fading and is not as vibrant as it was last year.
