March 25, 2016 - The wine is medium intensity color with slight bricking on the edge. Perfumed nose of dried flowers, plums, mint and leather. In the mouth, dried dark fruits, plums, leather, tobacco. Medium acidity and tannin. Nice wine.

October 23, 2015 - In the glass the wine is a ruby red with slight bricking on the edge. The nose is clean with aromas of sweet tobacco, black cherry, and flowers. On the palate there dried dark fruits, oak with fine tannins and medium acidity. Medium length finish. The wine has gone lighter body, but still has life!

November 18, 2011 - Lighter Ruby, Muted on the nose. Light on the entry, but opens up nice with light cherries and red fruit. I thought this wine was spent. It was pleasant with floral and herbal notes as it opened up. Drink now as it is not going to get any better.

December 20, 2008 - If you have some in cellar, drink now. Sense is that it is starting to peak. The fruit was muted and not as big as before. Still a very good wine but later vintages are superior.
