  April 13, 2024 - Popped and poured and enjoyed over dinner for an hour or so. Still retains good structure, but is settling into darker fruit, oak, and herby notes. Worked well with food and on its own. We have a few more from this year, so looking forward to seeing how/if they progress.

  January 22, 2024 - Back in the 90's and early 2000s these were our go-to for special occasions. Now, not so much. Blackberry, bell pepper, medium bodied, oak. Maybe it's my palate or maybe it simply needs more time in bottle or could be it's the recipe for this price point, but one thing for sure, I no longer look forward to Silver Oak. The fruit is not extracted enough.
