February 15, 2024 - Excellent Howell wine as always from OS. Tannins seemed to have mellowed since last year. The HM terroir is evident in this bottle. Improves dramatically in the glass over 1.5 hours

Franken Berry Does not like this wine:
April 9, 2023 - I think AG was on the mark with this one. It remains dense, tannic, and unbalanced. Opens with a great nose of blueberries, but the dark fruit is hidden behind a wall of dense tannins. This wine is a blend of all 7 Bordeaux grapes, but comes across fairly one dimensional.

May 20, 2022 - Typical Howell Mountain fruit-kind of dark with notes of licorice and blackberries. Much better after decanting and waiting 2 hours. Still needs some time.
