July 13, 2018 - Pungent floral nose of fragrant plums and dusty trails. Bright fruit on the palate with a lovely dry acid finish. A wine in perfect balance. 50 + 17 + 17 + 9 = 93.

January 29, 2018 - Aromas of dusty roses, fresh sawdust, roasted spices, crushed mulberries. Clear dry strawberry fruit on the palate with an aromatic blue fruit presence at the back, long clear acid finish. Classical with a romantic flourish.

December 28, 2017 - Complex expressive nose of cherries, allspice, roses, and barnyard. On the palate a bright acid core surrounded by soft round fruit, aromatic at the back with a pleasing acid finish. The magical Matthiasson blend of old and new worlds, went well with beet and blue cheese salad and a medley of leeks, shitake mushrooms, and green beans.
