February 4, 2018 - Good Wine with an Exciting Super Bowl (Chez Kailin - Northbrook IL): Bright red fruit with sweet spice so easy to enjoy. Impressive length for its level.

February 4, 2018 - Wines tasted during Super Bowl LII (Chez Kailin): Super appealing aromas of Vosne spice and black cherry with some licorice throw in for good measure. The palate is a bit simpler and four square but tasty and appealing none the less. Lip-smacking good and would drink this every day if offered. 90+ point nose, 89 points overall.

December 26, 2015 - Surprisingly dark red for a Vosne Romanee/Burgundy; fruity red nose with some austerity / acidity; rounded and nice with acidity cutting through it all; lean and elegant, some drying tannins; nice lingering deep fruit aftertaste; very good and interesting with ripe deep berries "winning" over the also quite present acidity and tannins

January 6, 2014 - Chicago Wine Flock..."Various Expressions of Pinot Noir" (My home - Chicago IL): Tasting blind in vertical. Wonderful red fruit with modest spice, but a little new oak seems to protrude. Just starting to evolve, this is at a good place now but I expect will be more interesting in another 5 years.

December 31, 2012 - Popped and poured. Perfumed aromas to start with lean red fruit and some exotic spice. Palate is a good combination of lean red cherry and earthy character but without any sense of overly mature fruit, mushroom or barnyard. I'd like to see a bit more 2002 power and ripeness to accompany all the other wonderful components here.
