April 2, 2020 - Not a bad wine. Is it complex? No. Is it perfectly balanced? No, the sweetness is a bit much up front and then blows off too quickly. But it is a solid, refreshing, stylistically typical wine. Would drink this any day, especially at the price.

November 29, 2017 - The sweeter side of Kabinett, the 2016 Weingut Witwe Dr. H. Thanisch Erben Müller-Burggraef Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Kabinett is classic offers up notes of yellow apple, white peach, honey, and wafting tennis ball. In the mouth, it's full and lush, unfurling at a deceptively languid place with a burst of energy and spritz at the close. Underripe pineapple gives way to candied white grapefruit and hint on minerally-petrol that reemerges with unexpected power. 8.2% ABV | Sample
