  October 16, 2021 - This wine is in a great drinking spot right now. Everything has mellowed and the initial bite this wind tends to have when young is not there. We did this as a part of a 2015-17 vertical. This got half the votes.

  November 13, 2020 - Unreal. Opened up a little tight, but after a quick decant it blossomed. Nose of kirsch and a deep chocolate. Dark cherry, wrapped in chocolate, wrapped in cassis. Tremendously deep and dark, but also so rich and accessible. I can't get enough of this wine.

  September 4, 2020 - Pop and pour. This has relaxed in the last six months with a full, silky body of milk chocolate, cherry, rhubarb pie, and mild chewy tannins. Delicious crowd pleaser at peak but no rush.

  May 11, 2020 - Not sure I would have pegged this as a Rhône blend - the initial blast on the nose reminded me of a zin but that was left to give aromas of darker red fruit, hint of spice, but seems muddled to me. I’ve been spoiled by the spectacular GSMs of Paso, and this just can’t compete in force or precision. Left a bit underwhelmed.
