September 1, 2005 - Served blind by Mel. Most thought it was northern Rhone (right grape, wrong continent!), but seemed suspiciously smooth at the same time. Deep yellow color, showing a bit of age. Really rich deep yellow fruit. Balanced and round on the palate. 91 pts. 9/05
