  October 5, 2017 - A good bottle of verdejo. Fresh, tasty, aromatic and interesting. A glugger or a sipper, up to you!
  
  On the nose, the wine has a good variety of aromas. It has freshly cut grass, citrus(lemon and lime) ripe pineapple, dried apricot with over-ripened brown banana still in the skin and almond notes. This wine smells fresh, yet the banana skin and dried fruit gives it a slightly developed angle as well. It also has subtle honey notes.
  
  The palate displays a light-medium body with refreshing verdejo acidity, not sharp, but uplifting and most welcomed given the texture and ripe fruit characteristics. Bone dry with a long and layered grassy finish. The flavour profile is similar to the nose and all work in harmony.
  
  Not much comes to mind in the way of negative thoughts, maybe it could do with a touch more muscle as well as flavour intensity, but in all honesty it punches above its weight. I like it!
  
  Drink fresh, within 3 years of vintage ideally.
