August 25, 2022 - Although I intended to open the next bottle in 4 years, this one was ready today. Surprisingly even some port on the nose in the beginning ... not the best bottle? But it disappeared over time. Very nice and smooth. Well integrated tannins.

May 22, 2021 - Opened popped and poured
Brilliant colour dark cherry richly opulent and full with tannins still in tack for a wine 17 years on is on a a marvellous drinking window a real treat to have one left which will try in 2024 - keep up the great work Mark

April 10, 2021 - Still very fruit driven. Cassis, black cherries, dark berries. Tannins are still present and not completely soft yet. No hurry to drink up. The wine can easily last for anther 10 years. I will try the next bottle in 5 years.

January 15, 2019 - Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow" #035: Champagne plus a few extra's (By MN): Ripe dark berries like cassis and blackberries in the bouquet. Same on the palate, some sweetness, leather and chocolate. Good herbs and spices. Beautiful acidity and soft tannin. Really very beautiful wine in a perfect drinking stage now.
