November 24, 2023 - Sweet concentrated fruit with fine tannins. A perfect "after turkey" Thanksgiving wine.

November 17, 2022 - At a good spot. Drinking very well. Cayuse funkiness, green olive tapenade and a characteristic Cayuse profile. Nice nose, medium viscosity, and a great bottle.

May 29, 2022 - Served with vegetarian pasta and tomato sauce. Some barnyard when opened and then settled down. Some very nice flavors.

September 11, 2021 - Opened for 3 hours. Color is dark garnet. On the nose: Sour cherry funk, green olives, baking spices and hint of vanilla. On the palate: Dark Sour Cherry, lots of other Red and black fruits, lots of clove and other spices that goes on and on, some green olive notes and some vanilla. Very silky and sensuous in the mouth. Soft and round tannins. Very easy to drink. This is terrific.

October 19, 2020 - I let it breathe for 1 hour. Drank over 1.5. Has that Washington State funk/fleshy notes you often get from Syrah in the region. I very mellow wine. A lot less dense and chewy and fruit than Central CA tempranillo I've had (Booker). But polished and sophisticated. A treat.
