November 24, 2019 - Jean-Pierre Reniard Burgundy Wine Seminar (Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant): Tasted in Riedel white glass.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of brambles, baking spices, black cherries. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13%), low tannins, medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of red cherries, cranberries, black cherries, greeny brambles, sweet baking spices. Medium finish.
Acceptable quality. Really does feel very "Beaune" - can't put it exactly into words - may be what I mean is it's accessibility and easy drinking nature. Could age I suppose, and maybe it could surprise?
