January 17, 2022 - Love Rick’s wines - but if you are expecting a napa cab you are going to be very taken aback. He makes wine like he was in France on soils that are like France.

July 19, 2019 - A perfectly pleasant cab, but don't expect anything more. Mild nose of cranberries and cherries. Nice fruit on the palate, black cherries, cranberries, bit of tobacco and anise. Tannins are quite evident but not overbearing, good acidity and balance. Fruit sweeten on the midpalate. Moderate finish of dark fruits. Drink sooner rather than later.

October 26, 2018 - A very nice example of early drinking Napa Cab. A nice nose of plums and tobacco. Soft red fruits on the palate, resolved tannins, good acidity, nice balance. Dark cherry flavors come in on the mid-palate. Nice long finish of dark red fruits and spice. Drink these over the next 2 to 5 years.
