August 24, 2022 - Quite an interesting wine with some age. Baked apple, minerals. Retaining good freshness. A little salinity. Slightly short.

August 26, 2021 - Lush and rich with good salinity and crisp finish. Interesting to drink a wine with this much age.

May 28, 2021 - Admittedly I am not a huge fan of Sancerre but this well aged bottle was really lovely. Rich body, lush mouthfeel—less austere than I was expecting. Really nice.

November 14, 2020 - Lovely aromas of honeysuckle, ripe apples, unripe pears and minerals. Mild honeysuckle, ripe apples on palate with excellent minerals and herbs. Seamless with fantastic balance. Finishes with grapefruit, honeysuckle and flowers. Drinking really well. A lot of life left. 92+

(Pascal Cotat Sancerre "Les Monts Damnes") This showed gloriously. The nose was potent with cinnamon, grapefruit, grassiness and a stony minerality. The palate was concentrated with high-pitched grapefruit, melon and spice woven in. All on a firm backbone of minerality and acid. There was great elegance and a lovely weightlessness to this wine. Lovely stuff but surely will improve for ten years.
