July 3, 2022 - not as big as i was expecting, but still plenty of body and tannin and acid to pair well with BBQ ribs. dark fruited and pepper notes complimented the KC-style sauce well.

April 10, 2022 - Paso Robles red made with 51% Mourvedre, 36% Grenache and 13% Syrah. Fascinating medium weight wine with high acidity. There is good fruit but perhaps not enough to cover the acidity. Medium tannin. There is bramble and a deep earthiness on the palate. There are also notes of charcuterie, herbs and perhaps a touch of bitter dark chocolate. Medium length finish and straightforward. Drink now and over the next 5 years - I don't think this is destined for old age.
