October 5, 2023 - Double decanted and tasted before taking to a tasting dinner. Bright yellow color. Lightly sweet from a little RS. Very cool on the nose with tropical and stone fruit notes. Bright acidity. Lovely rich layered texture. Apricot, peach, lychee on the palate with an undertone of minerals. Long finish with a touch of anise. Boxler always seems to deliver and this got better and better with air and especially with food. Notably excellent with crab cake and a spicy remoulade which was really accentuated in combination. 92-->93

March 25, 2023 - Golden color with some obvious viscosity in the glass. Not a very expressive nose. Adequate acidity and round mouthfeel. Well structured. Long length and pleasant finish without any bitterness.

March 9, 2020 - Buttercup yellow; expressive yet restrained; mid-weight, low-key, shapely. Lacked the required oomph. Has the balance to age well.

June 11, 2019 - Pineapple, apple, meyer lemon, honey, sticky sweet, some hot alcohol character, Thick, viscous. Calls for rich or even spicy food to help offset.

May 18, 2019 - Q2 - 2019 Tasting - Alsatian White Varieties from around the World (New York, NY): 6/17 wines tasted double blind. The nose here is floral but does not jump out of the glass like 1 and 4. On the palate this was overwhelmingly sweet for my tastes - two sips and a dump the glass for me. Just seemed to lack any balancing acidity. One of my least favorites today with 4 pennies voted by the group.
