March 11, 2022 - This bottle is better than I remember this wine ever showing. Pleasant and earthy fragrance. Lots of earth and mineral on the palate with hints of red berry fruit. Smooth texture. In the zone for drinking and should hold for a while.

June 29, 2020 - A couple years since last bottle. Again, lovely crunchy fruit and wet earth qualities but the green herbal anisette flavors come much more aggressively to the fore. What is this, I wonder? Unripe stems? Ladybug taint? Not quite sure.

February 26, 2019 - Didn't show nearly as well as I remember this wine from the 2009 and 2010 vintages. Surprising for a 2015, the sensation is just short of ripe, not in the sense of being herbal or vegetal but rather the fruit tones a bit downcast.

September 28, 2018 - Aromatically very effusive. - dried flowers, pomegranate, red cherry, and a bit of medicinal (anise?) edge. Comes across the palate pretty and dancer-like, not much apparent weight & body but with hidden power and a steel spine of acid. A good bit of wet earth adds a nice base note to anchor the aromatics, but seems something missing in the mid-palate. Good persistence and a lingering finish. Friendly tannins with just a whisper of oak. Drink or hold.

August 10, 2018 - Red berry, pomegranate, and cranberry with a little spice and moderate acidity. Smooth on the palate, medium to full body. Bigger than I expected, but not heavy. Soft and juicy long finish.
