April 5, 2024 - Wonderfully aged with well integrated tannins and acidity. Soft tannins allow layers of black peppercorns, ripe cherries, figs, dark chocolate and toast.

December 10, 2023 - Drinking really well, but needs at least a 30min decant to open up and come together. Well balanced dark fruit & food friendly acidity, although tannins have softened considerably. Medium finish. Drink up over the next year or so.

September 26, 2023 - In its youth this was one of the more unyielding '12 Napa Cabs that I've had, but it has finally come into its own. Still needs a little air to shine and should hold for a few more years. Makes me excited to try the '12 Select and Reserve. 92/3
