July 22, 2022 - Opened this an hour before tasting and then drank over 3 hours and it just kept getting better. Deep purple color in the glass. Jammy blackberry, bramble, coffee, flint and pepper on the palate. Robust and full bodied with a lingering spicy finish.

January 18, 2022 - A very beautiful deep purple color in the glass. A "rich" nose that shows plum and forest floor aromas. Tart dark fruit on the tip of the tongue, Then some savoriness and some earthiness. An interesting mouthfeel--almos thin. Not terribly full-bodied, but a tad more than mid.
