June 23, 2015 - Beautiful gold color. Nose is a wonderful funk (think cool climate Syrah) along with ripe fruit and a touch of pine sol, mouthfeel is fully mouthcoating and the finish is ripe pear and mango notes. Really fun wine!

November 25, 2005 - Third bottle tasted beter. Fully mature nose, with ripe pear, honey, and baked apples on the nose. Medium bodied and crisp, with ripe pear, honey a touch of oak on the palate. Moderate length finish with decent complexity.

October 11, 2005 - I expected this to be better, despite the age. Golden honey color and flavors, acidity seems to barely match the fruit, has that "old wine" almost madeirized feel to it-- and this was consistent across two bottles that appear to have good storage. Ah well.

May 31, 2005 - Insanity at Pisoni Memorial Day Weekend!!! (Santa Lucia Highlands): Golden honey color this was amazingly still crisp with ripe fruit flavors including some creamy white pear and crisp iceberg lettece. A streak of alcohol and a buttery finish with nice minerality.
