June 15, 2018 - The wine looks caramel colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells and tastes like hazelnut and sherry.

March 28, 2017 - Evaluating after it has been open a few days (although no major change has happened). Honey/toffee/tobacco/citrus aromas; nice combination of freshness and depth. Similar flavors, with good tart acidity and an undercurrent of salinity; only a bare hint of sweetness; quite tasty/moreish/mouthwatering. Excellent value at $30.

February 4, 2016 - Madeira Pilgrimage; 2/1/2016-2/4/2016 (Madeira): Light gold/orange color. Floral aromas with yellow apples. Fresh and vibrant, pleasantly salty, lovely dried fruits. A sense of honeyed and nutty richness but stays pure. Not the most complex wine but very nice stuff.
