February 18, 2011 - This wine was tasted in double-blind fashion at Vintage Wines, Ltd. The bottle was kindly provided by Doug Harrigan. Medium ruby in color, the nose shows moderately intense raspberry, rose and spice aromas. Medium-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity and light tannins. The oak is a bit overdone, somewhat overshadowing the red fruit flavors. The middle palate is solid and the medium-length finish is smooth. This is a "crowd-pleaser" Pinot, no doubt. Drink now-12/14.
