June 6, 2021 - Bought this one at a discount, $35 from $52 or so. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice depth, solid tannin backbone with some grittiness (which I enjoy). Dark berry, stone and plum (not in a stewed kind of way). Probably will benefit from a couple more years in bottle to settle down a bit, but I do t think this is more than a 15 year wine. Nice drinker and will pick up a few more to see how it evolves.

February 14, 2021 - Drinking my last bottle of this for, you guessed it, Valentine's Day. 3.5h air. Deep garnet color. Aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, pepper, tobacco and forest floor. Dense and robust, with an opulent, velvety texture and core of dark fruit, supported by notes of pepper and tobacco and a lingering spicy finish and a frame of rustic chalky tannins. My last bottle, but this should have years of life left.

September 18, 2020 - From Spring Mountain District, this Cab (with 8% Cabernet France and 4% Merlot) comes primarily from vineyards which sit at elevations between 600 to 1000 feet and is aged 18 months in French Oak barrels (66% new). Gave 3h air.

Dark garnet color. Offers blackberry, boysenberry, pepper, cedar and dried herbs. Dense and robust, with velvety texture, dark fruit on the palate with cedar and pepper in the finish. Rustic, muscular tannins reflect its youth and I suspect this will remain a stunner over the next few years.

May 7, 2020 - Very good with softening but lengthy tannins. Lots of dark cherry in the front. Fun to drink.
