  December 12, 2023 - My 10’000th tasting note on Cellartracker and I think a Krug from MAG is a worthy bottle to celebrate this.
  During the Salon Ficofi Paris walkabout tasting and dinner. The Krug Rosé 21 iteration is based on the 2008 vintage and it showed really well. I am not such a Rosé fan but this one combined an intense nose with peony, baking spices, raspberry. Long, aromatic, chalky finish.

  From Magnum. Clear, pale salmon color. Fine nose with lots of red berries and floral notes. On the palate mineral and with some energy, fruity, balanced and harmonious. But it also lacked tension, depth and length. Quite disappointing on a high level for this price point. 90-91

  initially comes across with that creamy and softer element you get on the rose Krug. It’s accessible and drinking but I think there is a lot more to come.
  The nose isn’t quite giving that full Krug, nicely developed nose. Palate also seems to need some filling out and development. Ideally I’d wait another year or two at least to see how it goes.

  January 12, 2023 - Wow, best rose ever? Rich creamy berry scented with full dense mouthfeel of rose petals, dried strawberries, and apple notes with a purity of fruit and bright energetic power. Long mineral driven finish with a touch of spice. Can you tell I liked it, lol
