December 30, 2006 - My third bottle in the past 2 months, one being the '97, the other 2 the '96. All were impressive. Beautiful liquid minerals, star fruit, lime blossom, chared wet eath, grass, oyster shell, sea brine, and of course the flinty/smokey notes(not as flinty as the '97). Super nice, finesse driven wine which I think matches the hype around the Baron L. I can't state enough about this........
