March 27, 2018 - Quite good in the under 10 USD cab category. Pleasant bit of oakies, not too sweet, with tart dark fruit and some vegetal character. Do remember liking this even a bit more four or five vintages ago, however. But not disappointed.

March 18, 2018 - From vineyards in Central Valley, alluvial and colluvial soils, 8 months in stainless steel, 13% ABV. Juicy and fruit-driven, fresh and not too sweet, nicely balanced, nice touch of violet, very mild tannins, with smoky and toasty flavours which point to the use of oak chips, good length. Mass-produced but not too bad in its category. And it did manage to cross the Pacific to end up in the 7-Eleven in Hakodate...
