Community Tasting Notes 16

October 25, 2010 - PnP. Clear, light straw color. Very clean nose, no hint of cork. A nice drinking, everday Chad showing like it should, good balance and still plenty of fruit. Rounded, no excess oak, a style I like. Drinking well now. Nothing off.

March 1, 2010 - Still full bodied but reaching the end of its cellar life. Need to drink others soon.

February 21, 2010 - Thin - I think we missed its window because we bought it at the vineyard and it was just right...

August 22, 2009 - Drink up, as on the downhill slide

June 25, 2009 - This is starting to seem like a wine in decline. It tastes like very ripe juice that has just started to turn - a bit of a twang that is not just balancing acidity. Still some nice tropical fruit there and decent balance.

(Schug Chardonnay Sonoma Coast) Light lemon and grapefruit nose; sweet lemon and citrus palate with good acidity, a little tight on the palate at the moment; medium finish 91+ pts.
