January 15, 2023 - after a four hour decant, this wine is deep Garnet with medium plus intensity, aromas of violet, raspberry, blackberry, cedar, mushroom, leather, forest floor, and nutmeg and butterscotch. This wine has medium acidity, high alcohol, medium, tannins, and body. This wine has medium plus intensity flavors of raspberry, blackberry, cedar, mushroom, leather, forest floor, and nutmeg and has a medium plus finish. This is a very good wine that should be drunk now to 2035.

April 16, 2022 - Intoxicating nose of dried spices, candied cherries drenched in liquor, and well integrated oak. Complex and evolving on the palate is this wine, with a long finish and a long life ahead

January 3, 2021 - Very good Rioja. Dense, oak laced dark fruit, high toned acidity balanced by very polished tannins, savoury sous bois and a hint of damp earth, leather, spice, and tremendous length, lasting some minutes. The flavour is layered, complex and changes throughout.

May 13, 2018 - At the winery.
Floral, seductive dark berries, rich nose.
Richer and denser than Prado Enea. Long and slightly warm finish. Modern and hard to pin down as Rioja. Nevertheless a very good wine1 person found this helpful Comment
