Rounder and weightier than the '07 and off dry. A strong cherry/red fruit character emerges. Yes, I said red fruit. Very interesting wine, but I prefer the more classic '07.

May 11, 2007 - Near definition of the perfect riesling apéritif. Fine spritz, youthful acidity and cool minerals makes the tastebuds dance.
Nose with pure green apples, lemon zest and a hint of freshly cut pineapple. Very fresh taste of lemon and grape with good intensity, slightly bitter end. One of our biggest faves of the year. Bought two cases.
