May 14, 2021 - Very dark purple with red edges.
Nose: concentrated berries, graphite, menthol, baking spices, black licorice.
Kind of a lighter body, the concentrated berries, and tobacco distinguish themselves along with a surprisingly less tannic profile but still a fairly dry finish. Lots of dark flavors in the finish like dark chocolate and black tea -

July 2, 2018 - Tasted next to 2015 Newton Yountville Cabernet. Quite different, but equally excellent. More savoury and structured, earthy, smoky, spicy with powerful tannins, great minerality, dense fruit and impressive length. Wait. 93-94+
