April 16, 2020 - Nice bottle! Bright yellow with green hues. Very generous, potent nose, with aromas of ripe apple, apple jelly rancher (my son's descriptor and it's accurate!), honey suckle, bread crust, and lots of minerals. Excellent texture with a hint of almond bitterness but it was not oxidation, just varietal character. Lift, intensity, without heaviness. Maybe a bit rustic, but a great surprise!
