  April 17, 2024 - Decanted only a short time (1 hr.). Loads of sweet red fruits (cherries, raspberries, strawberries), vanilla, and milk chocolate. Soft tannins and punchy acidity. Great by itself, but I'm guessing great with food, too (braised lamb shanks over pasta, later).

  January 18, 2024 - Sadly, bottle suffered from Brett taint, so it ended up down the drain. To substitute, I opened a bottle of their 2010, which was fabulous as usual.

  November 26, 2023 - Completely ready to drink (although we did give it a decant anyway), and with the insistent, grippy acidity of the vintage attractively prominent. Strawberry and cherry fruit with a plummy, leathery undertone, impactful and energetic on the velvety midpalate and a very dry (not drying) finish. Probably even better with some food, but most enjoyable on its own.

  October 24, 2023 - 2013 Brunello 'ten years on' masterclass at 67 pall mall (67PM): Garnet, perhaps slightly browning on rim. Surprisingly developed. Not the cleanest nose. Really grippy tannins. A bit simple; struggling with much beyond primary fruit/cherries. Perhaps suggests a long life ahead? Or the opposite!
